What I Hate Most About Cancer:
I have NO control!!!!!!!

none, allergist noticed blood loss and severe anemia, contacted GP who ordered tests.

Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects:

September 20 2006, re-section – 12 inches removed, 12 lymph nodes removed and tested, 4 positive

Radiation Description, Dates & Side Effects:

November 1, 2006, 30 treatments M-F caused sever fatigue, cystisis and cramping

Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects:

November 1, 2006, Started with 5-FU, missing DPD enzyme causing life threatening toxicity issues and discontinuing the 5-FU. No additional chemo available to me for any treatment of this condition. Now in wait and see mode.

Two days out from a little surgery Views: 202

Monday is the removal of my Port-a-Cath. At least that reminder of the failed chemo will be gone. I need this part over and done with. Nothing worse than a constant reminder of what didn’t work. Why isn’t there something else???

Since I’m toxic to the chemo I’ll be in for frequent testing to see if there is any activity in my liver or lungs. First staging appt. doesn’t happen until March. I just finished radiation in mid-December. Onward and upward.
