Off to Dana FarberViews: 230

Tomorrow is my 2nd opinion appointment at Dana Farber. I decided I really needed one when my oncologist told me not to worry, he’d do the worrying for me. This was after he told me to come back in four months and the only test he did was the CEA, he said I didn’t need any scans at all until the one year mark. I had 4 positive lymph nodes and NO CHEMO and he only wants to see me every four months. My CEA came back very good, but I’m not trusting anything until I get someone else to look at my records. When I had a follow-up with my surgeon for the port a cath removal, he was distressed I hadn’t had a 6 month colonoscopy done (it’s now scheduled for the end of the month), he’s now going to be following me every three months to be sure I don’t get forgotten about. More tomorrow after the appointment.

Hope your appointment went well!
